ALA Right Now: CM30: Rebound and Prosper: How Resilient Is Your Organization?
Recorded On: 12/10/2020
COVID-19 has thrust organizations into chaos and disruption. Do you want your organization to survive or thrive after a disruption? Resilient organizations are those that rebound and prosper after business disruption because they're resistant to the impacts of disruption (through good risk management), as well as adaptive, elastic and sustainable in the face of disruption. This session will help bring clarity to chaos and structure to disruption. When an organization is proactive rather than reactive, success can be experienced. Participants will be able to meet in small groups at least once during the session so we can leverage the collective IQ of the group.
Objectives:
- Explain why a resilient culture for organizations is significant.
- Identify basic characteristics of organizational resilience.
- Discuss five tips for building sustainable organizational resilience.
- Develop three next steps to apply after the session.
