Due to COVID-19 and the self-isolation that followed, many of our interactions moved from a face-to-face format to a virtual format. Video chatting quickly became a staple in many people's lives, whether to celebrate a birthday, participate in an exercise class, meet with work colleagues, or stay in touch with loved ones. Given the sheer amount of time that we are now spending online, our use of virtual technology- and its effect on our behaviors, brains, and overall mental health- deserves our attention. Those who are feeling exhausted at the end of a day spent in online meetings are not alone. This phenomenon is now being termed "Zoom Fatigue" or "Zoom Gloom." Why are we all feeling this way, and what are some tips for managing time spent in this virtual space? We will delve into these topics and more during today's webinar.
